The KSP Writers' Centre is proud to support the development of literary works by hosting a number of annual residencies for Australian writers.

Important Notes for Applicants

- Please also consider the Terms of Use (see bottom of application form) and read the category guidelines carefully to ensure your eligibility before submitting an application.
- Applicants must be current KSP members and over 18 years of age.
- Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered.
- The Golden Mile (Established) residency offers a $2,000 AUD contract salary for a full-time period residing at the Centre for three-four consecutive weeks, dates negotiable with successful applicant.
- One position is available in 2027. Experience in the preparation and conducting of workshops and/or seminars is essential for applicants in this category. Experience in mentoring and/or manuscript assessing is favorable, but not essential.
- Please ensure you download the Supporting Residency Document template from the KSP website and complete all required sections. You will be asked to upload this as a .doc or .docx attachment as part of this application. Applicants who do not submit this specific template will be deemed ineligible.
- All applicants will be notified within eight weeks of the closing date. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted within this time to arrange an interview with the Selection Panel.
